Once pride of Victoria’s fleet the ship now offers all the trappings of a 21st century wedding within an incredible, authentic piece of living history.

Evening reception at Boathouse 4

Located in  the heart of The Dockyard and just a stone’s throw away from the train station, our brand new Midships Cookhouse seating 120 guests is now open. With beautiful views out across the harbour of HMS Warrior and The Spinnaker Tower one side and a glass wall overlooking the boat building below, it’s an amazing space to enjoy some award winning food and relax watching the boats.

Evening reception at the Royal Navy Submarine Museum

The submarine museum in Gosport can hold a drinks reception inside the John Fieldhouse building with stunning views across the harbour. All wedding receptions are held after 6pm and offer comfortable surroundings for your special day. The John Fieldhouse building can hold 60 people (with a DJ) or 80 people without. The space can also accomodate 180 people standing for a drinks reception.

Wedding at Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower

The Grand Magazine is a truly unique venue for any wedding day. This magnificent Grade 1 listed building, built in 1771 as a gunpowder store for the Royal Navy, sits within a beautiful historic site rich in character and history, a perfect setting for a wedding and reception.
