We’ve swabbed the decks and are ready to welcome you back on board!
Portsmouth Historic Dockyard will be reopening on Monday 24 August 2020. Tickets will be available to pre-book from Thursday 6 August at 12 noon. However, that’s not the only news we have to share!
When the Dockyard reopens, it will be in collaboration with the Mary Rose Museum, and with an exciting new ticket offer which will enable visitors to explore all of the dockyard’s extraordinary ships, galleries and maritime experiences with one, simplified ticket.
Any visitors who already hold a 12 month ticket for Portsmouth Historic Dockyard or the Mary Rose Museum, which is still valid, will receive an extension reflecting the same amount of time that the site has been closed. You will be able to register for this extension when the website goes live on 6 August.
Any visitors whose ticket expired during the closure period will receive an extension which will start from the day the site closed and will run until the expiry day of your ticket. So if you had 30 days still to run on your ticket, 30 days will be added to it, from our reopening date.
We will contact you via email shortly to arrange this.
When you decide to visit us, your safety and enjoyment is our number one priority, which is why we will be asking all visitors including 12 month ticket holders and members to book online. More information on our safety measures and ticket extension policy will be available on our website on Thursday 6 August.
We hope to see you soon!
